Interbike Fallout

Ok, survived Interbike intact. Only one minor "dirt rash" incident on ye olde elbow. Had a positively wonderful time with the usual cast of castoways, including a Gilligan's Island ride in the desert with 8 people all on Santa Cruz bikes. It was a 3-hour tour of harsh proportions when "we" (and by 'we' I mean Geno) took an alternate trail into hike-a-bike territory. With maybe 1/2 a h2o bottle between us, there was a mutiny of sorts when one of the riders hit entered Bonksville City Limits and Geno & Lance decided to hike out via a golf course oasis. Blick, Cheever, Matt from Shimano, & I decided to stay the course and continued the hike until just one more ridge led to another vertical push. Blick had soldiered on, Matt soon followed. Cheever & I decided enough was enough and backtrack/bushwacked down valley, bumping into Lance who had eschewed the golf course route. Soon, we found ourselves on a familiar ribbon of kitty litter single track leading back to the upper edge of the Dirt Demo grounds. We descended Mother Trail back to "civilization," returning the Santa Cruz demos and proceeded to murder more than a few Tecates.
