WORLDS

Just got back from 5 days in NYC, and a hearty FUCK YOU to Johnny from Jersey. I left my bloody cell phone in a cab and when I called my own number on Monday to check for any messages, this derelict picks it up. Sez he found it in the cab and wants to be a good samaritan. That's very cool. Unheard of, but cool. Thankyou Sir. So I gave Johnny my hotel address. Says he'll express it overnight. Great. Next day the phone doesn't show up so I call my messages again and Johnny answers. Says he got to thinking and doesn't want to be out the $12 it would cost to send it to me, even though I assured him the day before that I would send the money when I received the phone. He then asks if there's a reward for the phone. I told him if he wants to be an asshole about it, fine. No, he assures me he just doesn't want to be out $12 and will send it overnight. Yeah right, fuckface. I immediately cancelled my service and headed out for one final night on the town. So the morale of the story? FUCK YOU...

Heavy Metal

good news, fiends. The 2003 Bianchi one-speed dirt bike, for the first time, will be made of METAL! That's right, I'm talkin' 4130 CHROMOLY, cousin. Look for an exclusive update right here next week.In other news, just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water, CRC #12 will be hitting the streets in time for Interbike/SSWC '02. Chock full of useless info, unflattering photos, and a bunch of sordid lies. As always, contributions are welcome. The long-awaited CRC Most Factory Tshirt should also be ready around Interbike. A straight jacking of the old Bicycle Motocross Action jersey, you will be lucky to be the second person on yer' block to have one as Chef Dog is guaranteed the first.Went up to Denver last weekend to see Speedealer at the 15th St. Tavern with Wakeman, Chef, and Mac. Rode the venerable Swan bike down to the show, and despite numerous pedal scrapings due to an ungodly low bb height, I did not go dowwwn. Truly amazing, especially on the ride home...

damn glad I haven't had to endure another Midwest summer sweatbox sauna. I'm sitting in one right now in good ol' Minneapplepuss. After a 6 hour Frontier Airline debacle, I arrived back in the 612 last night, just in time to see Girls Against Boys in the Entry, and drink excessive amounts of Jim Beam, Budweiser, and PBR, no thanks to my good scoundrel pals Cecil Cook, the Fitzwerks Bros., Cheva Knevil, BIg E. Eric Sovern, and Dave Evil. Just hucked a window unit AC in the front room and this Fisher Too Niner leaning up against the wall needs to be ridden. I've finally got ahold of some photoshop so look for some "snappies" (shout out to Rondo Ige!) of the 2003 Bianchi S.i.S.S. this week. And if you do nothing else, ride down to your local record shop and buy the new Queens of the Stone Age - Songs for the Deaf. I need a beer...
