thank you

Good God, that was fun, and I\'m talkin\' about the PBR-sponsored StrongArm Marketing Bike Swap & Rokka Rolla Extravaganza last Sunday. Thank you to all who attended, crashed, drank beer, threw things at the derby riders, and spent cash. Special mention to the hard corpse who drove down from Winnipeg for Saturday\'s cross race, and hung around for the Sunday\'s bachnal. Thanks to 4130 and Heads & Bodies for rocking the mic, and to Gene & One On One Studio for the locale, and Jana & Dave & PBR. If you missed this one, look for the next swap sometime next spring. Meanwhile, I hope to see some of you in Las Vegas at Interbike, especially the Dirt Demo. Until then I\'ll be holed up in the CRC HQ all week trying to bang out another issue of the whole mess. Please note our new phone # (612-203-0914) and thank you again for supporting, and being a part of MINNEAPOLIS BIKE CULTURE: none finer, anywhere.-Hurl

Good Morning Chitlins.Well, Chevil Knevil showed up in town this week, so it's been pretty blurry the last few mornings, and right now I have to run up to the market to buy catfood, but I wanted to remind all of you about the impending Bike Swap MEAT in the alley behind One-On-One Bicycle Studio, next Sunday September 28. It's is sponsored by Pabst Blue Ribbon, which means your thirst should be slaked by free beer. Events will include the 20" Beer Can Gran Prix, the 6-person relay race, and the infamous Coaster Brake Skid Contest. Prizes provided by PBR. 612-371-9565 for info.Lastly, if you're fans of, (to quote the Mayor of Drunkingham, Steve Smith,) "psychotic, denim-clad, all things homosexual celebrating vikings" and consider yourself a rokka roller, then I'll probably see you at the Fine Line Music Cafe on Thursday, September 25 for TURBONEGRO, on their 'Scandinavian Leather' tour. Don't miss it.that is all.-Sailor Tom
