Posted January 13, 2009 @ 12:35pm

Coming up quick, the Twin Cities Bike Swap will be held again at the National Sport Center, in Blaine. Never mind the small print above (it says 2008, by mistake). Come on out and spend lots of cash. You know, to stimulate the economy, and whatnot...

Little Girl, Wutcha Doin'?

Posted January 9, 2009 @ 3:42pm

If you're in Minneapplepuss this weekend, drop by ONE on ONE for the opening party for Christopher Olaf Berg's STUPOR BOWL XI Portraits. Should be a good time, attended by all the usual nefarious local cycling inebriati...And if you're in Harrisville, wUtah, drop by Boccia's, where Skyline Cycle is yet again hosting a session of their Gold Sprints. Bust a lung.

It's Gonna Be A Great Year

Posted January 7, 2009 @ 6:06am

Started Tuesday morning's commute off with a broken crankarm, and this is always a harbinger of good fortune. But let''s backtrack a little bit...Spent a week in beautiful California over the Xmess hollowdaze w/the Donut Queen. Got down to Satan Cruz for a dirtbike ride w/The Mayor, The Author, & The Complayna. I had the honor of riding this slicked back Retrotec. Our tour guide, Stevil von Kinevil, admiring the local fauna...Post-ride, refreshments were procured from Stevil's temperature-controlled apartment...Later, Stevil impressed us all with his mad Townie skillz. Foot-forward is the new fixed-gear.
