This Is A Public Service Announcement...

Minneapolis has been my *home* since 1989 when I moved here from the "frontier" of North Dakota to attend the University of Minnesota. In the 23 years that have since passed I have been fortunate enough to meet some remarkable people, and experience some exceptional cycling. Bike lanes were not de rigeur in Minneapolis in '89. The Midtown Greenway was just an under-utilized railroad corridor, and the Cedar Lake Trail was still a part of a Burlington Northern railyard. This city, – and its citizens, is a major player in the cycling world. But it doesn't happen without some behind the scenes folks doing the dirty, roll up your sleeves work. Point is, I owe a large chunk of who I am to my time spent riding, rocking, and rolling in Minneapolis. That's why all this week, when you purchase any of the CRC-branded Twin Six apparel, we will donate 20% of the proceeds to the Minneapolis Bicycle Coalition. Thank you, Minneapolis.
