Yarrrgh!

And this morning there was two inches of fresh snow on the ground. This, after our 60° ride on Sunday. No bother, really. The streets melt fast this time of year, (but maybe that's from all of the salt thrown down by the city works dept?) The Karate Monkey is finished, and thirsting for some dirt action. I'm afraid that the 20" frame may be a little on the large size for me, but given Surly's horrendous track record for keeping parts/frames in stock, I will just ride this one until I make up my mind. If an 18" frame is deemed necessito, then I'll cross that bridge when I get to it. In other semi-exciting nooze, today I made the deal to get back my original Steamroller prototype bike from my pal Chris in Hood River, Oregon. Hunter greeen and a non-standard rake on the fork. It will be a treat on future SLICK 50 rides, and assorted other tavern trips. Here's a good one: last week I worked 40 hours for the first time in over 3 years. Don't tell anyone; don't want to blow my cover...Yeah, things are rocking at One On One Bicycle Studio/GO! Coffee. Drop in and say hello if you're in the area. This Sunday, March 13th, is the St. Paul Bicycle Swap Meet 9am - 1pm St. Paul Academy School 1712 Randolph (2 blks W of Snelling) Sunday March 13. 2005 $2 admission $5 bike corral $40 table Call 651-699-2640 for more info or to reserve table C-ya there, ok?
